Anka is a family run business producing museum-quality furniture and luxurious specialist finishes for the high end residential and superyacht market. It is headed by Anthony Clarke, Founder and MD, and his twin sons Harry Clarke, Operations Director, and Toby Clarke, Sales Director.

Anka was established back in 2008, starting off with a small team of 3. Over the years we have grown to a strong team of 25 people including skilled craftsman, artisans, designers and project managers whom make Anka the exclusive British brand it is today.

We’ve built our business based on consistently providing exceptional customer service, a quality product and innovation. We take pride in the fact that there are very few people in the world that are capable of doing what we do. To now be one of the market leaders in the luxury property industry, both in the UK and globally makes us as a family and team extremely proud.

With Brexit now looming, there is no better time for Anka to be a member of ‘Made In Britain’, a body we have been proud to have been part of for many years now. With talks of ‘Buy British’ buttons added to many websites to keep trade within the UK, it will help keep the English markets affluent and support independent firms. The Telegraph predict there to be a loss of trust in foreign owned brands, meaning there will be a trend this year of buying British. Equally, looking to the international market, British craftsmanship has always been well received by clients abroad, particularly those looking for exquisite luxury. At Anka we have developed relationships with Italian and other European furniture makers over the years, who’s quality and workmanship is equally impeccable, how Brexit will affect those relationships and the European furniture market who sell to the UK is still yet to be clear, an element of time is the only entity that will reveal what lays before us. In the meantime, we will continue to thrive as ever, making history in our furniture one piece at a time, only this time with a sense of unknowing yet excitement, of what the future holds in the high- end luxury property industry, and the uncertain factors which surround us by Brexit.
