LANSERRING
LANSERRING is a design-led company that creates bespoke kitchens, furniture and lifestyle products for discerning clients around the world.
The brand unites the world’s best designers and craftspeople. We share a deeply held respect for traditional artisanal techniques and fine natural materials, paired with a passion for excellence in craft and design. Every creation is a complete custom build which tells a story about the taste and lifestyle of our client. The end result embodies the LANSERRING spirit, but feels completely new and personal.
LANSERRING is owned and led by fourth-generation master craftsmen Bernd and Johann Radaschitz. In Riegersburg, Austria, our family workshop is populated with some of the world’s greatest artisans leveraging an expert blend of traditional techniques and precision engineering to deliver on the visions of our creative team. Our specialist designers, on the other hand, are based in our Notting Hill studio in London.
As a global hotspot for design talent, London was the natural choice for Bernd and Johann to establish a new global brand. Positioning LANSERRING at the epicentre of an increasingly meritocratic design industry meant that we benefit from its rising talents, cultural diversity and international outlook. Furthermore there is a tacit relationship between British design and luxury; it implies crafting excellence and the epitome of sophisticated living. Immersing our head office in that culture helps ensure that the LANSERRING vision is best in class.
The international nature of the luxury design industry results in a diverse market for our business. It means we are less vulnerable to currency fluctuations and international negotiations with individual countries or trade blocs. When Brexit was announced in 2016, our primary concerns were currency fluctuations and delays at the border. We chose to absorb the currency fluctuations and to add a week to our delivery schedules. It is fortunate that our workshop products do not attract tariffs when they travel between Austria and the UK.
The LANSERRING brand has had global ambitions from its inception. Later this year, LANSERRING will open a second design studio in New York, consolidating our brand presence in the American luxury property market. Our team is hugely excited to position LANSERRING in an international spotlight in 2021.
