Quintessa Art
Quintessa is an international art consultancy and studio designing and creating bespoke and made to order art for the top end interior design industry. Our mission: to create the highest quality artworks for residential and commercial projects the world over; super yachts, boutique hotels, large hotels and homes of all shapes and sizes.
With over thirty years’ experience, the company has been commissioned by some of the world’s most influential interior designers and specifiers. These have included the late David Collins, Winch Designs, Taylor Howes, Oliver Laws, The Maybourne Group, Katherine Pooley, Hill House Interiors, Lawson Robb, just to name a few.
The company is based in London, employing its own highly skilled in-house team of artists, artisans and craftsmen. We are passionate about quality and service. We combine unique skills and first class materials, with an unequivocal attention to detail
All of our artworks are designed by our in house team of designers. From the most contemporary design to more historic or classic styles.
We are trend led, with trend consultants advising us several times a year, as to the current market direction.
We have recently introduced a diffusion collection entitled Q2. This is aimed primarily at emerging designers who are often on a more modest client budget. This is proving a trade hit and not only with the emerging designers.
Marrying first class craftsmanship and design with a contemporary approach is just part of our story. Understanding the needs of our clients means we are able to realise their vision of how they see art in the context of their interiors.
Going the extra mile is where our real success lies, and why we love the work we do and helping our clients achieve the perfection that they seek.
In preparation for Brexit, we have stockpiled the EU-sourced items that we use most frequently. We expect that prices may increase on our imported mouldings. We know that we will have more paperwork and admin on buying and selling from and into Europe.
What we also know is that things tend to settle down, and once the teething problems are sorted, we will get used to the new way of working.
