Catterson Wood and Adam Architecture assemble for ‘Jersey’s finest residences’

LPF Members and super-prime developer Catterson Wood are pleased to announce the recent acquisitions of Alexander House & Terence House in St. Brelade, Jersey.

The 12,000 & 15,000 sq ft properties form part of an exclusive enclave of just three grand mansions approached by a private tree-lined driveway, located on a wooded headland high above St. Brelade's Bay - and are each sat within substantial 1.5 acre plots.

Catterson Wood have enlisted the services globally-renowned classical architectural firm and LPF Member ADAM Architecture to transform these two wonderfully proportioned properties into the finest residences in Jersey.

Phil Wood, founder of Catterson Wood says”

“This is a landmark acquisition and development for Catterson Wood. We are excited to be working alongside such a world-class team of designers to deliver our vision for these magnificent residences.

Jersey is now firmly on the map globally as a destination of choice for highly mobile UHNWIs - particularly those with active business interests in the UK. The island’s proximity to London and mainland Europe, stable government, and business and wealth-friendly environment all make it a compelling proposition when weighed against other tax-advantageous jurisdictions. We see our role as super-prime developers as key to supporting the work of Locate Jersey in ensuring that firstly UHNWIs choose to make Jersey their home, and secondly that once they have, they stay for the long-term.

Our goal at Catterson Wood is to develop the most luxurious homes in the world. With Terence and Alexander House, we’ll be delivering a level of luxury, quality and attention to detail not seen in the island before, and believe that they will be the finest residences in Jersey once complete.”

Robbie Kerr, Director of ADAM Architecture says:

“It is exciting to be able to help transform these two properties into two exceptional houses that will, with the collaboration with the excellent design team, make these into properties that will stand out on the island. We really hope they will set a benchmark for quality and luxury on the Island.”

Joining the design team is Marcus Barnett Studio which has developed an international reputation for creating gardens and landscapes that combine strong architectural form and naturalistic planting and multi award winning interior design studio Laura Hammett.

We cannot wait to report more on this very exciting development!
