The Clermont Club will be returning to No.44 Berkeley Square this year, a hidden gem of Georgian architecture boasting decadent design features by the renowned architect, William Kent. Reopening its doors as a private members’ club and casino, The Clermont Club will build upon its former legacy, first founded in 1962 by the debonair John Aspinall and playing a pivotal role in the development of modern-day gaming. The club lays claim to changing the face of modern finance - it was once where the wealthiest and most influential men in the world once met to strike deals and first conceived the concept of private equity investing.

The interiors at the club have been curated by WISH Interior Architecture, paying respect to the original architecture of the building, while introducing contemporary Asian interiors. Six individually designed gaming rooms and a top-floor library have been created, where members will be able to play their hand at a choice of four classic casino games: Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Three Card Poker.

The restaurant is overseen by Italian-born Executive Chef, Arturo Granato, who has designed a special à la carte Modern-European menu, alongside additional Asian and Middle Eastern menus. Arturo joins the Clermont Club from Michelin-starred Club Gascon where he was previously Head Chef.
