SP Property rebrands as Eccord
PCL property acquisition and management firm and LPF Founding Member, SP Property Group has unveiled a bold new look – and name – to mark 15 years in business.
Set up by Jo Eccles in 2006, the business has now rebranded to Eccord (a play on the word “accord” and a nod to the founder’s surname), as a “more appropriate reflection of the high-end nature” of the agency’s work.
Jo Eccles: “Having grown and diversified so significantly in recent years, we felt it was time to review our branding and create an identity that better reflects who we are as a business.
“The new brand showcases our longstanding expertise and 14-year track record in the acquisition and management of luxury property in prime central London.
“It is also a more appropriate reflection of the high-end nature of our business, the calibre of the clients we represent, our values and the high level of service we are proud to deliver.”
Originally founded as a pure buying outfit named Sourcing Property, recent years have seen the firm branch out rather successfully into the property management game; the team now looks after over £1.5bn of real estate in the capital, ranging from new-build schemes to 10,500 square foot mansions in Knightsbridge.
Over 350 prime and super-prime properties have been sourced to date, and it sounds like 2021 has already started well…
The acquisitions team has just completed on a “significant” gated family property in St John’s Wood on behalf of a hedge fund client, and secured a £40k pcm turn-key rental property in Knightsbridge for a private equity partner (the owner was originally planning to sell, before agreeing to rent off-market to Eccord’s client).
There’s also been strong take-up for the firm’s “settling in service”, which sorts out projects including home moves, decluttering and hiring household staff for its clients; they are currently coordinating the purchase, delivery and installation of over 100 interior pieces from 32 different suppliers around the world for a HNW client who is finishing a large refurbishment project in Hampstead.
