Two founding members of The Luxury Property Forum led the speeches and praised LPF Founder and CEO, Priya Rawal and her team for their achievements to date. Full speeches below:

Charlie Willis, CEO of The London Broker

Good evening one and all, having spent a bit of time in the Army (now many years ago) I think that Priya is hoping that I can bring some order to this very merry gaggle….

I am Charlie Willis, a near 30 year veteran of the residential sales market in prime central London and now CEO of The London Broker which I joined as Priya started her Luxury Property Forum journey.

Now nearly 4 years into Priya’s vision-extraordinaire it is time to reflect on all she and her team have achieved and celebrate the collaborative network of about 150 incredible businesses delivering some of the best projects for clients in London and indeed globally.

I first met a newly pregnant Priya in a considerably less well attended networking event in far less salubrious surroundings at the top of an antiquated office block.  One of the couples I met were flipping contracts of flats at £250,000 in the Midlands. It wasn’t quite the luxury that Priya and I were thinking about in our many chats to follow but nonetheless this meeting led to her creating an incredible surge of good will and action for the luxury property community. What Priya has done with her team is extraordinary.

By galvanising a somewhat disparate but like minded bunch of people together and getting them to help one another through regular gatherings and the helpful WhatsApp groups for Founders, Platinum and Gold members, it means no problem seems too big and no project conundrum too delicate to discuss when you know you have such a broad array of professionals, who will happily share their knowledge and contacts, literally at your fingertips.

Whatever you need there seems to be a solution and that is what our clients expect of us. Particularly when the world keeps throwing extraordinary situations in our way…..

As we head towards Remembrance Sunday, we should remember to reflect on all those who we have worked alongside, who are no longer here to enjoy themselves with us. Remember their contributions to our industry and even those that struggle within it now.

Again, as a community, we have an obligation to think about the past as well as deliver the future.

Returning to the spirit though of tonight’s celebrations, I am delighted to hand over the baton to fabulous Tania who as the master of communications will delve yet deeper into the LPF achievements

Tania Thomas, Co-Founder of Maison Communications:

Hello everyone. I’m Tania Thomas cofounder of Maison communications, founder member of the LPF along with the wonderful Charlie Willis and the many other incredible founder luxury property brands still members today.

I will never forget that call first week of lockdown from Priya amidst planning her LPF first physical event having softly launched a few months prior, already pregnant with her first child by then. It was meant to ‘publicly’ launch with a physical event 2020. But Covid and Boris had other ideas; infact I think it was one walk a day! BUT Priya already had a vision for the good of the industry, also a tenacity that meant nothing could stop her, and just like that she flexed and adapted with flare, good humour and professionalism. Nothing was too much of a challenge and boy did she prove it and has continued to adapt and evolve in the four years since, also juggling a successful legal career and having two beautiful babies. She quickly launched in a virtual format which at the time was an incredible and forward thinking tool to keep the great and the good of the luxury property industry connected through a time of unknowns.

Priya is an inspiration, and that vision is the very reason we are all here today. And when I say great and good that’s all of you handpicked by Priya for your quality of offering, commitment to bettering our industry and all truly being the best at what you do. It’s businesses like yours that are a mark of high quality for which London’s luxury property industry is recognised around the world. Thanks for all your active participation in the many events, forums, and general networking and for being here tonight, I love seeing all the familiar faces and hearing what wonderful things you’re all up to.

Now enough of me .. lets hand over to the star of the show Priya and raising a glass…

Priya Rawal, Founder of The Luxury Property Forum concluded the night’s speeches
