New Opening: The Prince Akatoki London, Marylebone
Brand new hotel, The Prince Akatoki London, will be welcoming guests from 16th September 2019 after an impressive, multi-million-pound transformation. Centrally located in Great Cumberland Place in Marylebone, the 5-star hotel’s design is a refined blend of Japanese aesthetic with Western heritage, with tranquility and thoughtfulness at its forefront. A carefully curated collection of leading artisans have created bespoke sculptures, feature walls, paintings and furniture to echo elements of the hotel’s design aesthetic.
Interbrand Australia was tasked with developing a name, brand identity, design system and interior design guidelines reflecting a fresh, modern take on Japanese tradition. B3 Designers have applied The Prince Akatoki brand design principles – natural light, tranquillity, modern Japanese culture and minimalism. The hotel’s timeless facilities include: 82 beautiful guest rooms and suites; Tokii, a seasonally Japanese inspired restaurant; The Malt Lounge & Bar, a sophisticated late-night destination.
