Hill House Interiors - Finalists at The SBID International Design Awards 2022

LPF Members Hill House Interiors is delighted to announce that two of the studio’s recent projects have been shortlisted for the highly respected SBID International Design Awards.

The SBID International Design Awards is one of the most prestigious interior design awards in the global design calendar, recognising, rewarding, and celebrating design excellence across a range of categories.

Hertfordshire Family Home – Shortlisted in the “Residential House Under £1M” category

The Hill House design team, led by directors Jenny Weiss and Helen Bygraves, injected their signature style into this incredible new extension, in which an external courtyard was enveloped into the build to connect two parts of the home to create an incredible super-room. With the client’s passion for cooking and entertaining considered throughout, the brief was to create a sleek and stylish multi-functional space that could seamlessly combine everyday life and activities with entertaining guests with a theatrical flair. The magnificent, completed design showcases the chic minimalist kitchen with an immense 10-metre island and every appliance one could ever wish for, elevated further with an exquisite combination of high-end materials and finishes, custom cabinetry, and considered lighting design.

Surrey Hills Family Home – Shortlisted in the “Residential House Over £1M” Category

The owners of this expansive family home, located in the Surrey Hills, appointed Hill House Interiors as both the Interior Architects and Interior Designers of their 5-bedroom family home, which was undergoing an extension and thorough refurbishment.

With three growing teenagers and a large extended family, the brief was centred on creating a luxurious family-focussed home with excellent entertaining facilities and plenty of storage to showcase a styled yet uncluttered aesthetic. The completed design embodies sophisticated luxury, with bespoke cabinetry throughout, designed to be beautiful yet functional and to add a sense of anticipation and excitement throughout, the design includes several unique features: secret doors, a secondary “spice kitchen” hidden within the main kitchen and bespoke lighting features to elevate the design further.
