LAPADA Leaders Webinar Series Episode 2, with Katherine Pooley & Kelly Hoppen
LAPADA, the Art and Antiques Dealers Association has launched a new webinar series ‘LAPADA Leaders’ featuring its CEO, Freya Simms, in conversation with leading captains of culture. As Britain takes its first tentative steps out of lockdown, leading figures from the worlds of museums, design and curation will share their predictions for what the future holds for the art and cultural worlds as they emerge from the Covid-19 crisis.
The second session focused on design, featuring a panel discussion between award-winning interior designers Kelly Hoppen MBE and Katharine Pooley on the impact of the crisis on design trends and how it will affect the way we live and experience our homes. It took place on Wednesday 27 May at 11am and you can watch it below!
The third webinar will take place on Wednesday 3 June and will see the former National Portrait Gallery Director and National Trust trustee, Sandy Nairne joined by The Foundling Museum’s Caro Howell in a discussion around the practicalities for museums as they look to reopen and what creative strategies will be employed to engage new audiences.
