Webinar: How Has the Pandemic Reshaped What Prime UK Home-buyers Want From Their Luxury Properties?
The impact of Covid’19 and lockdown has had profound effect on the way in which we live. Before the coronavirus lockdown, serious kerb appeal and a kitchen island were key factors in how quickly a home would sell. With buyers now able to view properties and actually move home, we are now seeing how priorities are changing. More space being the new must have feature. It is no surprise that trends such as a rise in working from home, the importance of a dedicated office space, the need for a uninterrupted wifi and the need for outdoor space, are all being catalysed by the pandemic and will have implications for bricks and mortar going forward. So, what does this mean for the prime property market. Are buyers moving away from vanity features or is there still room for beauty and dare I say opulence in prime properties? What does the need for larger properties with more rooms and a garden mean for the London property market? And what impact is this going to have on the development of luxury properties in the long term.
We were joined by a panel of experts, delving deeper into what buyers will expect from prime property in the future.
Chair: Priya Rawal, founder and CEO of The Luxury Property Forum
