The surge in demand has been astonishing with more than 208 vessels sold on the brokerage market so far in 2021, compared to just 131 by this same period last year totalling an astonishing £1,012,841,035, according to data from BOAT International. This niche part of the luxury industry is growing and so is the demand for the best skills, quality and craftsmanship in the world to construct and deliver these beautiful vessels. With more of the super-rich spending prolonged periods of time at sea, these homes from home need to be able to fit their owner’s lifestyle, house and accommodate the crew and be custom made for the voyages they may encounter.
